The ULE Alliance, has announced that a ULE gateway from Huawei, branded as Qivicon powered by Deutsche Telekom, successfully passed the ULE certification programme. The organisation has also released a 6LoWPAN open source package, whilst Livassured and ball-b impressed the jury at the DECT Awards with their ULE-based solutions.

“I would like to compliment Huawei on their commitment to global standards, and on their ULE gateway, which now carries the ULE certification logo“, says René Kohlmann, Chairman of the ULE Alliance. “With the certification programme, the ULE Alliance drives interoperability, establishing a strong Smart Home environment, riding the always reliable and worldwide-adopted DECT technology.”
The tests were conducted at AT4 wireless, the official testing and certification partner of the ULE Alliance. AT4 wireless offers ULE Alliance members testing and certification services for ULE devices. An overview of all certified devices carrying the ULE logo including devices from Crow, Panasonic, and VTech, can be found on the website of the ULE Alliance.
