Visitors to the EcoBuild show will be amongst the first in the UK to view a fully integrated, ‘working’ smart building solution from Redstone and Vanti. Located on stand E6217 within the Smart feature area, the two companies will bring together their specialist services in order to make the most out of the physical space, increasing energy efficiency and sustainability while simultaneously improving the working environment for the wellbeing of its occupants.

The integrated solution is already used by 550 employees and management at United Business Media (UBM) Group’s central London HQ at the iconic 240 Blackfriars Road location. The technology has helped UBM to improve workspace efficiency by 25%, resulting in a capital saving of approximately £3m and operational savings of over £1m per annum.

Visitors to EcoBuild will be able to walk through and physically interact with Redstone’s and Vanti’s shared smart building space to obtain first hand experience of how the solutions work. This collaborative approach, which also features examples of technology from interactive technology provider SMART and control systems provider AMX, will provide visitors with a true understanding of how smart technology can be incorporated into spaces where people work, learn and live.

Brendan Loughrey, managing director at Redstone comments, “Working in collaboration with partners such as Vanti has enabled us to provide customers with a truly integrated and manageable smart building solution, we are able to design, implement and manage the technology needed to deliver intelligence for both new and existing builds. With connected devices on the increase there’s no doubt that smart and intelligent buildings will prove to be the future of all shared spaces.”

Mike Brooman, CEO from Vanti, adds, “Partnering with Redstone makes absolute sense for us. We have a complimentary offering that is already making a demonstrable difference for our clients. Our specialist integration know-how and experience creating digital experiences that not only deliver the initial wow-factor but also help people become more productive, communicative and collaborative are a perfect complement to Redstone’s existing service portfolio.”

The Smart Technology showcase will also include Redstone’s OneSpace – an intelligent desk and meeting room booking system - Vanti’s audio-visual and multimedia solutions including video conferencing systems, control systems and touch panels. Euroworkspace will be showcasing their intelligent lockers as well as collaborative and flexible furniture.
